Women's Spiritual Book Study: "Mission: Joy"

The Women's Spiritual Book Group invites the women of our church to join us as we view the film, "Mission: Joy! Finding Happiness in Troubled Times" on Wednesday, September 20th at 11:30 am in the David O'Connor Vestry. It's a "bring your lunch" event!  Beverages and dessert will be provided.  The film is an hour and a half long and a short discussion will follow. If you haven't attended previous meetings, please consider joining us for this event.  We are planning on book discussions throughout the year,  but to kick off getting together after the summer break, this film is calling us! "Mission: JOY Finding Happiness in Troubled Times"  is a film that shares the humor and wisdom of two of the world’s most beloved icons, His Holiness the Dalai Lama and Archbishop Desmond Tutu. These two Nobel Peace Prize Laureates united for one final mission: to show the world how to live with JOY, even in troubled times.  Experience their incredible friendship in this laugh-out-loud film. Despite difficult journeys, they made happiness a habit – finding joy in adversity and fighting for a better world. And they know what they are talking about.
