About the event
On our journey to building an inclusive church, we will spend time to look at the overarching Biblical theme of God's hospitality and inclusive love. We will also spend some time looking at a few of the so-called "Clobber Passages" that have been used by Christians to take a stand against the LGTBQ+ community. We will look at them in context of the particular time, place and questions that the authors were responding to. In the end we will see how our Holy Scriptures actually support an Open and Affirming attitude toward our LGTBQ + family, friends and neighbors.
Participation is limited to 10 people per session and pre registration is required.
(Make sure you choose the date you wish to attend when registering.)
There is no need to worry about dinner or lunch as soup will be provided.
