First Annual Hampton Ecumenical Cornhole Championship

The Ecumenical Clergy Group of Hampton are planning a Cornhole Championship to be held at Tuck Field at 11:30 am on Sunday, September 24th.  The purpose of the championship is to have fun and create community spirit among the churches—world peace through cornhole! UCC North Hampton is looking to have people sign up as teams of two. If we have more than two teams that want to participate we will have our own internal competition to see who will represent UCC NH at the tournament. (Note - the boards will only be 15 feet apart to encourage participation from all age groups. Corn Hole will be set up in the vestry for anyone who would like to give it a try. Each church will come with 2 teams (4 people) of any age to represent the church. Teams will be competing for a trophy—and we will be asking for a $1.00 donation from all in attendance to go toward a local charity to be chosen by the winning team.  The winning church team will also get to play an exhibition game against the clergy. Each church is invited to bring its own cheerleaders and guests.  Creative cheers, team uniforms/costumes are encouraged.
