Internet Privacy Policy


This policy describes how the United Church of Christ in North Hampton collects, uses and shares personal information.

Personal information means information that allows someone to identify or contact you.  Non-personal information means information that does not directly identify you.

  • Your email address, when you provide it

We collect your personal information stated above to communicate to you information regarding UCC, North Hampton’s events and happenings.  Survey information is used by UCC North Hampton’s administrative staff and/or Church Council to make informed choices regarding the life of UCCNH.


Sharing of Personal Data

We have never and will never sell your information to marketers or other vendors.  Your information is only seen by the administrative staff of UCC North Hampton.


Your Choices

You can make the following choices regarding your Personal Data:

  • You may choose to stop receiving informational emails by following the unsubscribe instructions in the emails you receive.

  • You may request to have your personal data deleted.  You may do so by emailing or writing to the contact information at the bottom of this policy.

  • You may, if required by law and upon request, be granted access to the personal information that we hold about you.  All requests must be directed to the contact information at the bottom of this policy.


Changes to Your Personal Data

We rely on you to update and correct your personal information.  Our email communication contains a link at the bottom where you can update your information.  Note that the third party application may keep historical information.


How We Protect Personal Information

No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is fully secure. While we use reasonable efforts to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information.  In the event that we are required by law to inform you of any unauthorized access to your personal information we may notify you by email provided by you.

  • Transmission of Data to Other Countries.  If you are located outside the United States, please be aware that your personal information will be processed in the United States, where privacy laws may be less stringent than the laws in your country.  By submitting your personal information to us you agree to the transfer, storage and processing of your information in the United States.

  • Third Party Applications/Websites.  We have no control over the privacy practices of websites or applications that we do not own.  We use as our website’s platform and you may go to to read their privacy policy.  We also use Mailchimp to communicate to you.  You may go to to read their privacy policy.  Any other applications will also have their own privacy policies.  If they use cookies it will be stated at the bottom of our website.  If you would like to delete these cookies please refer to your browser’s instructions.
