Christian Education - Sunday school classes are offered September - June for pre-K through junior high ages.  Children proceed to sunday school directly following the childrens message during sunday worship.

Confirmation classes are offered every other year (typically from January - June) for youth between 8th and 10th grades interested in exploring their faith, affirming their baptisms and joining the church.

Opportunities for study and discussion for adults often happen at 7pm on Tuesday evenings.  Sometimes there are additional study sessions on Sunday mornings after worship.  There are also retreats that are offered to enrich the spiritual life of adults.  Classes and retreat schedules are communicated through The Lantern, the monthly church newsletter.  An online copy of the Lantern is available on the home page of this website.

Fellowship - Enjoy a cup of fair trade coffee and other treats after worship on Sundays.  All are invited to a time of conversation and refreshment together in the fellowship hall, also called the Vestry, or outside during July and August when we meet at the Little River Church.  This is a wonderful time to meet new friends and to learn more of the ministries of the church through conversation, bulletin boards, and the communications table.

The Women’s Book Club gathers Saturdays at 9 am for coffee and conversation at Caffé Fresco in Hampton.

The Men’s Breakfast group meets each Sunday at 8 am for coffee, donuts, and always-lively conversation.

Junior and senior high youth are encouraged to participate in events planned throughout the year for fun and faith formation.  Event dates and times can be found in The Lantern, the monthly church newsletter.  An online copy of the Lantern is available on the home page of this website.

The Ladies Union meets the second Wednesday of the month for crafting, lunch and a short business meeting.  The Ladies Union also prepares for and hosts the annual Fall Fair benefiting youth camping scholarships for Horton Center , the UCC New Hampshire Conference Campsite.

Music Ministry - The choir gathers on Thursday evenings at 7 pm and Sunday mornings at 9 am for prayer and rehearsal.  Under the wondrous direction of Gail Adams Shunk, the choir leads regularly in worship September through June.  During July and August, choir members and musicians offer their talents in worship through solos and special musical offerings.  Gail encourages all with a heart for praising God through music to join the choir.

The church is blessed to have a set of tone chimes.  With church member Debbie Eaton coordinating, the tone chimes are played for worship and for special occasions in the life of the church.  No experience is necessary to join the Tone Chime Choir, and all are welcome.

Other Program Opportunities - Worship opportunities include: acolytes (children grades 1 - 5 are invited to bring the light of Christ into worship), greeters, ushers and worship leaders.

Children are invited to lead in worship by participating in an annual Christmas Pageant.  In recent years, an all-church pageant has been a highlight of worship life.  Children and congregation members are encouraged to participate in the fun.  The pageant usually happens the 3rd sunday of advent.

Children and youth are encouraged to participate in summer camping programs sponsored by the New Hampshire Conference of the United Church of Christ.  Week long camps and adventure programs are a spiritual highlight for many of our children and youth.  For more information, please contact our church office.
