Thanks to all who have filled out the questionnaires you received in the March Lantern. This is such a great help for our upcoming church directory, which should be printed in the next couple of weeks. Even if your information hasn't changed for the past 20 years please fill these out so I can make sure all the information for the directory and for our church leadership is correct. It's that time again to think about registering for Horton Center or Geneva Point. Those who have participated in the past should already have information from the conference. Strengthen the Church Special Offering ~ May 11th

The UCC NH Bowling League held its May, 2008, bowling event on Sunday, the 4th. Here are the results from that

eventful evening. Deb Eaton and James Allen won with a combined total pin fall of 1379. The prizes included exotic pearls from placecountry-regionBrazil and Truffles. We will be bowling next in October, on a Sunday to be determined @ 4:00 at Strikers East in Raymond. All are welcome. Please contact John Dozet with questions 772-5326.

The Adult country-regionMexico placeMission group will be selling burritos, Mexican shopping bags and holding crosses in the prayer room after worship today. Construction constraints have led mission participants to postpone the bidding on Service Auction items to May 18th and 25th and announcing high bids on June 1st during coffee hour. Serving at Crossroads: We are still looking for people to serve at Crossroads. Our church serves on the fourth Wednesday of every month. Please see Sherri Amjad if you can help.

Alzheimer's/Dementia Caregiver Support Groups meet at Compass Care in placeCityPortsmouth every 1st & 3rd Thursday of the month from2:00 - 3:30 pm. This group is free and open to the public. Contact: 430-0070 or www.compasscare.org

Rockingham VNA & Hospice will be offering two 6 week bereavement support groups starting March 24th. Both groups will meet at the Rockingham VNA office at addressStreet137 Epping Rd. in placeCityExeter. The general support group meets at 10:30 - 12:00 pm and the motherless daughter group meets from 5:30 - 7 pm. Free and open to the public.
